Dear New Life,

We are about a week away from our flight to Spain! That came extremely fast. Thank you so much to all of you who have been praying for us as we prepare to leave. Below is a list of prayer requests, and we would invite you to continue in prayer for us as we go.

Prayer Requests:

• That God would change us as we take steps of faith (Psalm 91:1-2; Prov. 3:5-6; Psalm 139:23-24)
• That God would make us a unified team driven by the love of Christ (Eph. 2:11-22; 4:1-6)
• That God would develop in us a heart for the world (Rev. 7:9-10)
• That God would bring about Gospel fruit from our time there
• For safe travel and smooth connections
• For the remainder of our money to come in – we are still about $1,500 short
• We have a few younger children coming with us…pray for them (and their parents!) as they adjust to the crazy Spanish schedule

My wife compiled different verses for us as a team to pray through and meditate on each day. I thought it would be cool if the rest of New Life joined us. Just think…we would be praying for the same thing while being thousands of miles apart! Below is the passage along with the corresponding day beginning July 1. If you were feeling really ambitious, you could make this part of your family devotions for the next two weeks!
