Regional Care Communities
Did you know that if you attend New Life, you are part of a Regional Care Community? We’re a regional church and in order to shepherd our body well, we’ve divided ourselves down into 5 separate “Regional Care Communities.” Each community is led by a team of leaders including elders, deacons, and home group leaders.
Using this team approach, we will have the ability to reach out to draw others in, care better for needs in our region, and help point each other to Jesus. This helps us to accomplish our core values to live on the foundation of the gospel, to expect transformation in our lives, to provide a context of meaningful community, and to participate with each other in mission in our neighborhoods and to the ends of the earth.
In the video below, Todd Hill, our Director of Congregational Care, provides some of the building blocks of our vision.
Each Regional Care Community will be meeting as a large group this spring, with the goal of meeting twice a year as a whole community. Please look for emails and announcements regarding your own Regional Care Community’s schedule.
How do you know which region you belong to? Log into New Life Online and on the Welcome Page, look for “My Groups” on the right. Whichever Regional Care Community listed there is yours.
Tentative RCC meetings include:
East RCC: March 25
West RCC: April 24
Upper Dublin RCC: April 29
South RCC: May 6
Abington RCC: May 21
Get these on your calendar now. Many groups are planning outdoor activities, weather permitting. More details are coming and will be sent out via email, or you can check the website calendar.
