New Life Women's Ministry presents ART NIGHT, a series of evenings where artists and learners come together to explore creative mediums and methods. For beginners to masters level, the night will include instruction and studio time. The purpose of ART NIGHT is for women and men to take part in a laid back, fun approach to learning and sharing creative knowledge that fosters and ignites creativity and community. When time permits, various topics on faith and art will be discussed. BYO (coffee!)

KATIE BAILEY : textile artist : KNITTING
Katie will teach the basics of knitting.
Supplies: Size 8 straight knitting needles, size 4 (or medium) worsted yarn. Experienced knitters who would like to learn to knit in the round can bring size 8 double pointed needles and size 4 yarn.
Katie: "I started knitting...when I was about 8 years old - I asked my mom to buy me a kit at the store and taught myself. I find it relaxing and I just love it!"

RSVP by Wednesday, February 26. Arrive early; instruction will begin at 7 p.m. to maximize practice time.
