I graduated from Philadelphia College of Bible (later Philadelphia Biblical University, and now Cairn University) in 1995 with a Bachelor’s in Bible and a Bachelor’s in Education with an emphasis in Health/PE. I served as a Physical Education teacher for 5 years (the first 2 years in Seoul, Korea) before moving into administration as an assistant elementary school principal. I later earned my masters degree in Educational Administration from California University of Pennsylvania. I hold a certificate of “Foundations of Biblical Counseling” from the Christian Counseling Education Foundation. I am married to a beautiful and fun loving woman named Young-Mee, and have two children named Ethan and Karis who love to play soccer and hang out with their friends.
I am the Director of Congregational Care. This means that I am the point person for all of the shepherding that takes place at New Life. I love to pour into the elders, deacons/deaconesses, home group leaders, and the many others who are shepherding at New Life and hold up their arms while they walk with those who are in need. My desire is that all those who are NLD feel known and cared for.
In my free time, I love to play basketball, golf, watch my kids play soccer, laugh with Young-Mee, and travel.
