I have lived in the Philadelphia and Montgomery County area my entire life, worshiping at one of the New Life Network of churches since I was in 5th grade. Growing up in these strong Bible-believing churches, I never doubted there was a God but ran far from him while I was a young teenager. The Lord lovingly pursued me and called me back to Him over and over again when I truly did not deserve it. God has used the New Life churches, its pastors, youth leaders, elders and members to show me Christ’s love and faithfulness and the power of prayer over many, many years.
I started turning my life back to God on a mission trip to London just before I started college. I graduated from Temple University with a degree in dance, initially thinking I would use dance on the missions field, but God had a different plan.
I met my husband Jason while attending the college and career group at New Life Glenside. We have four kids (Bennett, Ryan, Audrey and Tucker) who are currently in college, high school and middle school. We first started attending New Life Dresher when we moved to Upper Dublin in 2005.
For the last 20 years, I have been a stay-at-home mom, working part-time either managing a thrift store, coaching gymnastics, teaching dance and most recently running a DIY/ home decor blog.
With two kids in college, one in high school and one in middle school, our house became very lonely and I started praying about working more outside the home. I joined the staff at NLD to help in the children’s wing for Women’s Bible Study in the fall of 2022 and started as the Pastoral Administrative Assistant in January of 2023.
I love spending time with my family and friends, being outside, creating, decorating, gardening, reading, and watching old movies, and am always up for dancing in my kitchen!
