My husband, Andy, and I joined the New Life family in 2011. We have three children and are so thankful for the community we have here. In 2013, I began serving as the nursery coordinator for New Life and then transitioned into the role as assistant to our Children’s Ministry director. I took a break to stay home with our youngest until he started elementary school and in June of 2022 I was excited to return to my role here at New Life. In addition to overseeing our nurseries, I also coordinate our children’s church volunteers, oversee Cubs in Motion and Coffee and Kids, and assist Beth Anne, our Children’s Ministry director, in any way I can. It is a privilege to serve our young children and their families by helping to plant the seeds of the gospel in their young hearts and minds.
I grew up in Northeastern Ohio and then attended Grove City College, where I met Andy. At Grove City, I received a bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. I taught for eight years (mostly kindergarten and first grade) before stopping to start our family. We are blessed with a daughter and two sons. In my free time, I love to read, spend time outside (whether that is in my garden, taking a hike, or enjoying the beach), be crafty, and travel.
