I moved around quite a bit growing up as a pastor’s kid, but mainly consider myself an Upstate New Yorker. I graduated from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications with a Bachelor’s degree in Television/Radio/Film. While there, I was very involved with Cru, where I not only grew in my faith, but met my wife Michelle, who is from the Philadelphia area. We currently live in Glenside with our three children.
Since college, I have held various roles in youth ministry working with Jr. High, Sr. High, and college students, either in an employed or volunteer capacity. I was also a professional comedian in the musical comedy duo Dave and Brian for 15 years, travelling the country to perform at various events in both Christian and secular venues. We also experienced some video success on YouTube and on TV.
In 2015, God called me out of full-time comedy and back into full-time ministry. I received my MDiv from Missio Seminary and am currently the Assistant Pastor of Emerging Generations, overseeing Jr. High through college ministries and working toward ordination.
I love sports, live concerts, movies, and CrossFit. “To Know Jesus and Make Him Known” is not just the purpose statement of New Life Dresher, but what I hope to do in life and ministry thanks to the life-changing power of the gospel.
