I was born and raised in Georgia, in a little town out in the country. I moved to Atlanta for college, attended Georgia Tech, where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and Master’s Degree in Health Systems Engineering. While there, I met my husband, David, and in 2008 we moved to Glenside, Pennsylvania as David took a job in the area. (Somewhere along the way, I lost my Southern accent, which saddens David). After arriving in Philadelphia, I worked at CHOP for 2 years as a Clinical Process Manager before becoming a full-time stay-at-home mom to our four children – Arden, Annie, Jack and Luke.
I grew up in church and knew Jesus from a very early age, but what I’ve realized after being a part of New Life for the past eight years is that there is so much more to know about Him. At New Life I’ve been encouraged to really have a relationship with Him. I started as the Missions Coordinator in January 2020 and I am so excited to be in this role where I am able to help in sharing the love of Jesus within our communities and throughout the world.
I love watching my kids play sports, my Peloton, hiking, being outdoors, traveling, and cooking for my family (which never seems to stop eating!).
