I grew up in New Jersey and, through my parents and church community, developed a personal relationship with Christ at an early age. I attended Princeton University and was involved in a campus ministry called Princeton Evangelical Fellowship, both as a student and then as an intern on staff for a year immediately after I graduated. I met my husband, Matt, while at Princeton and we lived in New York City while I completed a Masters in Biomedical Research from New York University. We then moved to the Philadelphia area and began attending New Life soon afterward. I worked as a research scientist for four years, and then transitioned to a period of staying at home full-time with our three wonderful children two sons and a daughter.
I joined the staff at New Life as Womens Ministry Coordinator in 2015. I am really excited to serve the women of our church in this position, especially since God has used the Womens Ministry to grow my faith in many ways. Our church is blessed with a wealth of amazing talented and gifted women and Im looking forward to spending more time helping us press the gospel into each others lives.
I enjoy baking (often with my kids). The part of baking I most enjoy is eating baked goods, and I love good food in general. I get especially excited about food from other cultures. I love to be outside in all seasons, but especially like the warmer ones and can often be found gardening.
