I was born in the Sudan and grew up in South India where I went to school at Kodai International School, formerly a school for missionary children, where my parents worked. I learned to appreciate the diversity of God’s family over the twelve years I lived in India while attending the school church where the pastors changed every three years and came from different nationalities and denominations. After graduating from high school, I moved to the Philadelphia area to attend Eastern College (now University) where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. I have lived in the Philadelphia area since then. After earning my CPA license, I have been working in the public accounting field for the past 27 years.
Shortly after I married my husband Tom, we began attending New Life. We have been members for over 25 years. We have two grown sons. I enjoy time spent with family, baking and reading.
I look forward to my role as church treasurer. I hope to use my past accounting experience to keep the church’s financial records in order and provide reports to the various ministries as we work together to serve God at New Life.
