2 Timothy 3:16–17
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ.
until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,
He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither.
In all that he does, he prospers.
1 Corinthians 3:6–7
I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 10:31
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
Besides this you know the time that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed. The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light.
Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.
Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time.
1 Peter 4:2
so as to live for the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for human passions but for the will of God.
Jesus said to her, “everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
