Missional Communities
We launched Missional Communities with the idea that we want to love our communities and spread the joy of the Gospel. We invite groups of New Life Dresher members and Philadelphia friends together to focus on making a positive difference somewhere in the greater Philadelphia area for a minimum of one year. Why a year, you might ask? We feel that a year provides the opportunity for our groups to really commit to an idea and to each other by connecting and serving alongside one another. Each Missional Community selects a leadership team of at least three people, drafts a mission statement and a one-year plan to support their goals. We offer ideas, best practices, various resources, and financial support. These groups exist to “Make Jesus Known.”
Below you will find our current Missional Communities and how to get involved – whether in-person or from home. Each Missional Community also has a Facebook page which you can join to learn more.

Community Builders is a ministry whose vision is to be a witness to the love of Jesus Christ in our community. Our presence with them offers the opportunity to explain our love for them in the context of God’s love to us that He showers on us through the Gospel message.
