Romans Made Real: Transformed and Renewed by Jesus

The book of Romans explains the mercy of God for us through Jesus and also teaches us how it can transform the way we live. At this year’s retreat we will explore Romans chapter 12. We want to understand how the gospel renews our view of self and others and how we can approach life through the lens of being living sacrifices (at home, in our careers, in our friendships, family life, church family, and with those who don’t believe in Jesus). We do this personally and communally as sisters in Christ and gospel-friends. While many have been studying Romans in the NLD Women’s Bible Study, all are welcome to come learn how to live responsively, by faith, to God’s merciful love for us in our daily lives.

Details:

The retreat begins Friday at 7 pm and ends Sunday at 11 am and includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner Saturday and breakfast Sunday. The accommodations at Harvey Cedars Bible Conference are in Bayview Lodge on the bay with beautiful sunset views. The lodge has 34 rooms, each with a balcony and two queen beds or one queen and two twin beds and a full bath.

Saturday Only – $65
Full Weekend (2 ppl / Your Own Bed) – $240
Full Weekend (3-4 ppl / Sharing a Bed) – $205
Special Dietary Needs – $25 (the church will cover half the fee)
