Jesus draws us together.
New Life is a multigenerational and increasingly diverse community centered on the reality of Jesus’ presence among us. It’s because our lives have been changed by Jesus that we find ourselves in relationship with one another. At some point, we all realized that we were more broken and sinful than we thought we were. But we’ve discovered that, through the grace of Jesus Christ, we are more loved and accepted by God than we could have ever imagined.
Jesus moves us toward others.
And that reality moves us to seek the renewal of a broken world around us. Our commitment is to engage our local community, to serve needs in our metropolitan area, and through many channels, to participate in God’s global work around the world.
Relationship with Jesus relates to everything.
So we have Sunday morning worship, home groups, youth groups, kids clubs, and many ministries and activities besides. But these are all driven by relationship: first with Jesus who changes us, second with those he gathers together at New Life, and finally by our desire to relate Jesus to every aspect of our world.

Worship services at 8:30 am and 11:10 am
Sundays at New Life
Most Sundays, our worship services are at 8:30 am and 11:10 am, with School of Discipleship (Sunday School) at 10 am. Several times a year, we have a combined service on Sunday at 10 am with no Sunday School, including Memorial Day Weekend, Labor Day Weekend, and the Sunday after Christmas.
We seek to give God our joyful and thankful praise each week as we gather corporately for the Sunday worship service. Worship brings us into community with God and others. Our worship services follow an order which combines music, Bible reading, prayers, personal accounts of God at work, and practical preaching and teaching. We value the participation of everyone and have multiple leaders for different elements.
Our rotating worship teams use a variety of musical instruments. We sing an eclectic mix of contemporary worship songs and traditional hymns in a variety of styles.
We care more about what God is doing inside your heart than what you’re wearing on the outside. The way you dress for worship is up to you. That said, our atmosphere is casual and most dress casually.
For infants and toddlers, there is childcare provided by volunteers who are required to pass PA state background checks. Other children are strongly encouraged to be part of the body as we sing, pray, and read Scripture. During the sermon segment of worship, we provide “Children’s Church” for children ages 3 to 2nd grade. In addition, there is a New Mom’s Room that includes audio from the service. We also provide assistance for children who have special needs. Please contact the office ahead of time if your child has special needs requirements.
Children are checked-in at the Children’s Desk just a 15-foot walk from the lobby. Our children’s safety is our priority. We use a computerized system at check-in using unique codes to match children with their parent or guardian.
One of our values at New Life is having our children participating in worship with us, even if it means some occasional noise. So parents are welcome to have their children with them through the whole service. Please exercise wisdom to determine what situation is best for yourself, your children, and for others.
As you enter the lobby of the church, look for people with orange lanyards around their necks. They can answer basic questions and provide assistance. If you want to know more about the church, go to the “Welcome Desk.” Someone at the desk can help you, and you’ll find many resources to connect with the church.
We consider those who are new to New Life our guests. Please feel no obligation to give as you visit.
The best way to connect with others and form deeper relationships at New Life is through one of our many different small groups. Anyone is welcome to visit one of our home groups that meet in various locations throughout the week. Ladies can attend our weekly Women’s Bible Study on Tuesday nights or Wednesday mornings. And young adults can check out our Crossroads ministry on Tuesday nights as well. Visit the Get Connected page for more info.
