Meg Mancke

Children’s Ministry Assistant

New Life has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My parents and I started attending when I was 6 years old.

When I was 12 years old, I went on a mission trip to Ukraine. While there I saw two women devoted to Christ and serving children of their community in the most amazing ways. This was the first time I truly understood what it meant to live a life for Christ and I made the decision I wanted that too. Through Young Life in high school, I continued growing and understanding what my relationship with Christ would look like on a day-to-day basis.

Growing up at New Life and after moving back home from college, I found myself drawn to serving in the Children’s Ministry through Children’s Church, Girls Club and Outreach Events throughout the year. The Lord led me to take another step of faith in becoming the Children’s Ministry Assistant in May 2019. I feel very passionate about developing relationships with families and helping kids to Know Christ and Make Him Known.

A few of my favorite things: I love animals, especially dogs and tortoises. Baking is one way that I feel close to the Lord and it brings me a lot of joy. I enjoy being outside in God’s amazing creation and exploring new walking paths.
