I graduated from Philadelphia College of Bible (later Philadelphia Biblical University, and now Cairn University) in 1995 with a Bachelor’s in Bible and a Bachelor’s in Education with an emphasis in Health/PE. I served as a Physical Education teacher for 5 years (the first 2 years in Seoul, Korea) before moving into administration as an assistant elementary school principal. I later earned my masters degree in Educational Administration from California University of Pennsylvania. I am married to a beautiful and fun loving woman named Young-Mee, have a crazy, guitar playing son named Ethan, and a goofy, gymnastics loving daughter named Karis.
I am the Director of Student Ministries. I love the opportunity to connect with young people – to hear their thoughts on life, to hear their struggles, and then to consider ways in which to point them to Jesus. I still think I am a teenager and can often be heard “talking trash” with the kids about beating them in a game of basketball. In many ways, I feel that I still relate with faith struggles that teenagers wrestle with daily, and enjoy walking through the struggles and joys of a Gospel-centered life with young people.
In my free time, I love to play basketball, golf, watch movies with my kids (or take naps in front of movies with my kids), laugh with Young-Mee, and travel.
