Women's Ministry: Brief overview of activities for women

Women's Bible Study

Women's Bible Study is on Wednesday mornings from 9:15 to 11:00 AM and Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 PM, September through May. Childcare is provided only for the Wednesday morning meeting. Various women from the church teach a Bible passage to the large group. This is followed by small group discussion, based on questions on the passage done at home the previous week. This is a wonderful way to get to know women in the church in the context of prayer, encouragement, accountability, and personal Bible exploration. It's also a great way to learn how to study the Bible in an atmosphere where you are welcome to ask questions.

 

Women's Retreat

The annual women's retreat is held in the spring at the Willow Valley Family Resort in Lancaster County. This weekend gives women an opportunity to get to know God and each other better through great teaching and worship times, small group discussions, private time and lots of fun.
