These stories are written by people who are just like you and me. They have hopes and dreams and know struggle and disappointment. The stories are true personal accounts written by people who have asked hard questions, faced difficult situations, and sought to understand their place in this world. Some of the stories you will read are by singles and some by those who are married. Some are stories of those who have struggled while experiencing success and others in the midst of failure. Some are stories of those who have worked through a difficult relationship, others of those who have wrestled with loneliness.
Each writer has his or her own unique personal story, but tells of a similar encounter... an encounter with the same living God. Those encounters are the thread that ties all of these stories together, because they all resulted in a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ. Different people, different places, different circumstance, but the same life-changing Savior! It is that Savior, His story, and the change He has brought to these people's lives that makes their stories worth telling. As you read these stories, I pray that you too would have an encounter… An encounter with the living God … An encounter with this same powerful life-changing savior, Jesus Christ.
